Jack Jensen, M.D., FACSM

Dr. Jensen is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the field of Sports Medicine. He has been distinguished with the title FACSM - Fellow American College of Sports Medicine. His orthopedic training was done in the Texas Medical Center and at Eugene, Oregon with prominent leaders in the field.

He was a team physician for the University of Missouri and now serves as the physician for several Houston-area high schools as well as Olympic and professional athletes. He was one of seven physicians in the United States selected to serve in the Goodwill Games and is honored to be a member of the US Olympic Sports Medicine Society.

He is the author of numerous scientific publications, past associate editor of "Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise", and has written a book entitled "A Healthy 10: A Reference Guide for Gymnasts and other Athletes."

His new book all about knees will soon be published. Dr. Jensen is the founder of the Athletic Orthopedic & Knee Center.
